Location: Leicester

Salary: £14.000 - £16.00 per hour (DOE)

Hours: Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm, Friday: 8:30am - 3:45pm

About the Company

We are a well-established and respected bespoke furniture manufacturer based in Leicester. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and hardworking Assembly & Dispatch Operative to join our team.

The Role

This is a hands-on, varied role involving the assembly of products and supporting dispatch operations. You will work as part of the production team to ensure goods are assembled to a high standard and prepared for delivery on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble products using hand and power tools
  • Read and follow basic drawings or instructions for assembly tasks
  • Prepare, pack, and label goods for dispatch
  • Load and unload items safely and efficiently
  • Assist with general warehouse and workshop duties
  • Maintain a clean and organised working environment

About You

  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Ability to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
  • Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or dispatch (preferred)
