About the Company
We are a well-established and respected bespoke furniture manufacturer based in Leicester. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and hardworking Assembly & Dispatch Operative to join our team.
The Role
This is a hands-on, varied role involving the assembly of products and supporting dispatch operations. You will work as part of the production team to ensure goods are assembled to a high standard and prepared for delivery on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble products using hand and power tools
- Read and follow basic drawings or instructions for assembly tasks
- Prepare, pack, and label goods for dispatch
- Load and unload items safely and efficiently
- Assist with general warehouse and workshop duties
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment
About You
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or dispatch (preferred)
