Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 Hours: Mon-Fri, Full-time The Role We are recruiting an experienced Joinery Estimator to join a well-established business delivering bespoke joinery projects across the residential and commercial sectors.
The company works on a varied range of projects, including door sets, bespoke joinery and complete interior fitouts.
You will review project briefs, prepare accurate cost estimates, and manage tenders from the initial enquiry through to submission.
Key Responsibilities Review drawings, specifications, and project briefs.
Prepare accurate estimates for joinery projects.
Produce detailed material, labour, and subcontractor costings.
Manage tender enquiries and prepare competitive submissions.
Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
Identify project requirements, risks, and potential cost variations.
Liaise with clients to clarify technical and commercial requirements.
Work closely with design, production, and project teams.
Maintain accurate estimating and tender documentation.
Support successful project handovers following contract award.
What We're Looking For Previous estimating experience within the joinery sector.
A strong practical or technical background in joinery.
Experience interpreting drawings, specifications, and client briefs.
Knowledge of residential and commercial joinery projects.
Understanding of door sets, bespoke joinery or interior fit-outs.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Good commercial awareness and attention to detail.
The ability to manage several tenders and deadlines simultaneously.
Confident communication and negotiation skills.
A joinery background is essential for this position.
