ob Description: Production ControllerLocation: HinckleyPay: £13.00-£14.00 per hourHours: Monday-Thursday: 8:00am-4:15pm Friday: 8:00am-12:00pmJob Type: Full-time, PermanentAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Controller to join a well-established aerospace manufacturing business based in Hinckley .This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has strong organisational and administrative skills. You will play an important role in supporting the production process, ensuring work is accurately documented, orders are processed correctly and components move efficiently through the business.
Working closely with the production team, planning, stores and other departments, you will help ensure the smooth flow of work from order through to completion and dispatch.
The RoleAs a Production Controller, your responsibilities will include: Raising and issuing job tickets and works orders to the shop floorEnsuring job documentation is complete, accurate and available for productionProcessing and completing order forms for subcontractors and external suppliersPreparing paperwork and documentation for components being sent out for subcontract processesMonitoring the progress of jobs through production and updating relevant recordsLiaising with production, stores and other internal departments to help maintain the flow of workChecking completed orders against relevant paperwork before packing and dispatchLabelling, packing and preparing finished components and customer orders for shipmentEnsuring correct identification and traceability documentation is maintainedUpdating internal systems and spreadsheets with production and order informationAssisting with stock and material administration where requiredSupporting the coordination of subcontract work, including preparing parts and documentation for collection or deliveryFollowing up on outstanding paperwork, orders and production documentationHelping to identify and resolve any administrative issues that could delay production or dispatchMaintaining accurate records in line with company procedures and quality requirementsProviding general administrative support to the production and operations teamsThe Ideal CandidateYou will be: Highly organised with excellent attention to detailComfortable managing multiple tasks and prioritiesConfident working with production paperwork, order forms and internal systemsAble to communicate effectively with colleagues across different departmentsCompetent using Microsoft Office and computer-based systemsProactive and able to work independently when requiredComfortable working in a busy manufacturing environmentSomeone who understands the importance of accuracy, documentation and traceabilitySomeone who has previously worked in a production/manufacturing enviroment is advantageousWhat's on Offer?
