Location: Leicester
Shift: Mon - Tues (2.30pm - 12.30am), Wed - Thurs (2.30pm - 12.15am). 15 minute paid break and half an hour unpaid break
Hourly Rate: £16.09 per hour

The Forge Operator Role:
- Set and operate machines to produce fasteners to strict tolerances
- Supporting in the production areas in the slitting and shot blasting
- Undertake training on all machines to ensure 100% flexibility in the workplace
- Uses gauges and measuring equipment to ensure product meets required specifications
- Self certification of your personal work
- Keep all computer files and manual paperwork accurate and up to date at all times
- Responsible for producing SPC charts and records
- To actively take part in locally focused, or multi-functional continuous improvement teams
- Ensure housekeeping is maintained to the highest standards
- Ensure all quality procedures are adhered to
- Work as fully flexible team member within the Company to maximise levels of production and quality
- To adhere to all company EHS requirements and actively participate in the identification and elimination of hazards
The Candidate:
- Previous hot forging or press brake experience preferred
- Experience on hot press, slitter, and shot blasting required
- Power press training preferred
