About the Company:

Established over 50 years ago and privately owned, our client is a leading structural steel fabricator based in Nottinghamshire, with a turnover in excess of £15 million per annum. Specialising in complex infrastructure fabrication and installation, they work on high-profile projects for major national infrastructure bodies and count several top-tier UK contractors among their clients. With decades of experience delivering bridges and structural steelwork across the UK, they have built a strong reputation for quality and technical excellence.

About the Role:

This is a client-facing role, so you'll also liaise directly with clients and contractors to resolve queries and ensure designs meet project requirements. There's genuine scope to grow with the business as it builds out its in-house design capability.

About You:

  • Experience using 3D AutoCAD and Autodesk Advance Steel (essential).
  • A background in structural steelwork, fabrication, or infrastructure projects (essential).
  • Comfortable liaising directly with clients and external stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • A team player who can work well within a busy drawing office environment.
