The Role:
We are looking for a CNC Setter Operator to support machine shop operations within a busy manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC machinery, ensuring production targets, quality standards and delivery requirements are achieved.
- Setting and operating CNC machines
- Making adjustments and offsets to maintain quality standards
- Supporting shop floor production requirements
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Carrying out quality checks using measuring equipment
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements
About You:
- Proven experience setting and operating CNC machinery
- CNC machining background
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Team-focused, proactive and safety-driven
- Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent preferred
