The Role
We are recruiting an experienced TIG MIG Welder to join a well-established manufacturing business with a highly skilled welding team. This is a hands-on, permanent role within a precision manufacturing environment, producing high-quality instrumentation to strict quality standards. The work is clean, structured, and process-driven, with a strong focus on consistency and quality rather than heavy fabrication.
What You'll Be Doing:
- TIG / MIG welding of meters to high quality standards
- Carrying out basic assembly tasks, including pressure and leak testing
- Working from engineering drawings, procedures, and quality requirements
- Maintaining welding equipment and a clean, organised work area
- Supporting customer inspections and continuous improvement activities
- Following all Health & Safety procedures, including PPE and manual handling
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 5 years' TIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong experience welding stainless steel
- Welder coding to EN287-1, ASME IX and / or PED
- Experience working in small batch production
- Basic PC skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
