The Role
Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit a General Operative to join their manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role working within a busy production environment, supporting manufacturing, packaging and dispatch operations while maintaining high standards of quality, housekeeping and health & safety. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career within manufacturing.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assisting with manufacturing and production activities.
- Preparing materials ready for production.
- Filling, labelling and packaging finished products.
- Carrying out basic quality inspections.
- Loading and unloading materials safely.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Following all health and safety procedures.
- Supporting other departments as required.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Good attention to detail.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Must hold a full UK licence and have a vehicle.
