The Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver Role:
- Manage all warehouse administrative support tasks, to ensure Warehouse Operations runs smoothly and efficiently, against defined procedures
- Check delivery notes against the relevant accounts - check delivered quantity VS order quantity in SAP and deal with any discrepancies
- Support in count of goods received from suppliers against delivery notes
- Material handler duties to improve and maintain smooth running of all areas
- Support in maintaining effective stock control at all times by liaising with purchasing and production teams
- Operate forklift
- Highlighting issues/risks with warehouse/forklift systems/processes and propose remedial action/resolutions for discussion/agreement.
The Candidate:
- Valid ITTSAR or RTITB accredited Counterbalance essential
- Ideally valid ITTSAR or RTITB accredit Reach truck license.
- SAP Warehouse Management system competent or similar systems knowledge
- Good Microsoft Office skills is essential
- Experience in stores or warehouse administration activities; goods-in/dispatch processes
- Be able to work unsupervised and meet set deadlines
- Good communication skills
- Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
- A problem solver and team player, also able to use initiative
- Excels at operating at a fast pace
