About the Company:
This is a high performance motorsport manufacturing business specialising in the production of precision engineered components for elite motorsport applications.
The Role:
A skilled Universal Grinder is required to join a precision engineering environment in Coventry. You will be responsible for grinding high specification components, with a strong focus on internal grinding operations, working to extremely tight tolerances and high quality standards.
- Set, operate and adjust universal grinding machines
- Carry out internal grinding on precision components to tight tolerances
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings and specifications
- Perform self inspection using measuring equipment including micrometers and bore gauges
- Ensure all components meet strict quality and performance standards
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
About You:
- Proven experience as a Universal Grinder
- Strong background in internal grinding is essential
- Experience within precision engineering or motorsport or aerospace sectors
- Ability to work to tight tolerances and high quality standards
- Confident reading technical and engineering drawings
- Self motivated with excellent attention to detail
