Due to continued growth and investment, they are looking to strengthen their team with the addition of an experienced CNC Miller Programmer who enjoys varied and technically challenging work. The Role This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to join a highly skilled precision engineering team manufacturing one-off and small batch components, tooling, jigs, fixtures and prototype parts. A key requirement for this position is the ability to programme, set and operate a Bridgeport Interact machine at the machine. Experience using OneCNC software would be highly advantageous. Key responsibilities include: Programming, setting and operating Bridgeport Interact CNC milling machines Producing one-off and low-volume precision components from engineering drawings Manufacturing tooling, jigs, fixtures and prototype parts Working to tight tolerances and quality standards Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, route cards and technical instructions Selecting appropriate tooling, materials, feeds and speeds Using micrometers, verniers, bore gauges, dial indicators and height gauges Carrying out first-off and in-process inspections Supporting continuous improvement activities Performing routine machine maintenance Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety Working closely with engineering and production teams to achieve delivery targets Desirable experience: OneCNC software Apprenticeship, NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent engineering qualification Prototype, toolroom or low-volume manufacturing environments Machining steel, aluminium and specialist alloys Quality systems and manufacturing best practices How to Apply To apply for the CNC Miller Programmer position, click Apply Now and upload your CV.
