Optima is recruiting a skilled CNC EDM Wire Programmer Operator to join a precision manufacturing client in Tamworth. The successful candidate will operate high-specification EDM wire equipment to manufacture gears, gear shafts, and precision components to exacting standards.
- Programming and operating CNC EDM Wire machines
- Entering production and job data into the ERP system
- Operating multiple machines as required
- Maintaining quality, accuracy, and safe working practices
Minimum of 3 years' trade training or equivalent experience, plus 2-4 years' relevant machining experience.
Extensive knowledge of CNC EDM Wire machining.
Strong understanding of EDM principles, tooling, materials, and machine shop practices.
Comfortable working in a multi-machine environment.
