The successful candidate will be responsible for producing efficient offline CNC programs for complex milled components, supporting production and continuous improvement activities across the machine shop. This role offers an excellent work-life balance with flexible start times, an early Friday finish, and the opportunity to work on high-profile projects within the F1 and automotive sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing offline CNC milling programs for complex precision components
- Using Fusion 360 or MasterCAM software to generate and optimise programs
- Supporting production teams with technical and programming support
- Reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and CAD models
- Optimising machining processes to improve efficiency and cycle times
- Supporting tooling selection and machining strategies
- Working closely with manufacturing and engineering teams
- Ensuring components are manufactured to tight tolerances and quality standards
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the machine shop
About You:
- Strong offline programming experience using either Fusion 360 or MasterCAM
- Experience within precision engineering, motorsport, automotive or similar sectors
- Strong understanding of CNC milling processes and machining strategies
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
- Experience working to tight tolerances
- Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
