About the Company
Our client is a successful fabrication and manufacturing business supplying high-quality metal components to a range of industries. Due to continued growth and increasing customer demand, they are looking to strengthen their production team with an experienced CNC Plasma Operator.
The Role
This is more than a standard machine operating position. You'll play a key role in the fabrication process, taking responsibility for producing precision-cut components while maintaining high quality and production standards. Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you'll be involved in operating CNC plasma cutting machinery, quality checking finished parts, and supporting wider fabrication activities across the workshop.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and operate CNC plasma cutting machinery
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Load and unload sheet metal and fabrication materials
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments where required
- Carry out first-off and in-process quality checks
- Perform basic machine maintenance and fault finding
- Support fabrication and assembly activities when required
- Ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently
- Maintain high housekeeping and health & safety standards
About You
