About the Role We are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector Supervisor - Nights and Weekends to join the weekend night shift team in Leicester. This is a hands-on role combining quality inspection responsibilities with team supervision. You will be responsible for ensuring components meet customer and quality standards using both automated and manual inspection methods, while supporting compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949. You will also supervise a team of up to five machinists, ensuring production and quality standards are consistently maintained throughout the shift. Key Responsibilities Operate CMM equipment and automated measurement software Carry out accurate dimensional inspections and interpret measurement reports Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T specifications Perform manual measurements using micrometers, verniers/calipers and height gauges Identify, document and manage non-conforming components Support root cause analysis and corrective actions Maintain accurate quality records and update BIANCA Ensure QA procedures are followed, including the management of rejects, rework and gauges Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout the night shift Supervise and support a team of up to five machinists Ensure the team works safely and efficiently while meeting production and quality requirementsExperience & Skills The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in a Quality Technician, Quality Inspector or Quality Engineer role Experience within a machining or automotive manufacturing environment would be advantageous Good knowledge of CMM inspection and dimensional measurement Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T Experience using manual inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers and height gauges Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to quality The confidence to supervise and support a small team The ability to work independently and make sound decisions during night shiftsHow to Apply If you are an experienced Quality Inspector Supervisor - Nights and Weekends looking for a supervisory opportunity on a weekend night shift, click Apply Now and upload your CV.
