The Quality Inspector Role:
- In process (First off / patrol) inspection of machined and fabricated parts
- Read engineering drawings & symbols
- Inspection of components using both mechanical/manual & CMM devices: Micrometres, verniers, gauges & callipers
- Calibration skills for various hand inspection tools - vernier, micrometer
- Read customer specifications and understands the importance of accurate measurements
- Goods inwards inspection
- Visual inspection requirements with attention to detail
- Keeping work environment clean and tidy and practising good housekeeping
About You:
- Experience working to ISO9001:2015
- Able to read engineering drawings & symbols
- Experience using inspection tools including micrometres, verniers, gauges, calipers etc
- Must be willing to work on any shift pattern in line with business needs
- Work well in small team, reporting to Inspection Team Leader
- Weld experience desirable
- CMM Experience desirable
