The Job Role Position:
The company are seeking a skilled Press Brake Setter Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and setting up Amada press brakes to bend and form metal components according to specifications. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of machine operations and safety protocols.
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine setup procedures.
Set up tooling, program settings, and backstops on Amada press brakes.
Operate press brakes to bend, punch, cut, and shape metal components.
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and accuracy.
Inspect finished parts to verify conformance to specifications and make any necessary adjustments.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all safety guidelines and procedures.
The Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience as a Press Brake Setter Operator, preferably with Amada machinery.
Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Good mathematical skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols for operating heavy machinery.
Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills.
