Location: Loughborough

Shift: 07:30am to 4:30pm Mon to Thu / 07:30am to 12:30pm on Fri

Pay: £17.50 to £13.50 per hour

Our Client: An established manufacturer are looking for a skilled and motivated Plater and Fabrication Team Leader to manage a small team and oversee the production of steel fabrication projects. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all team tasks are completed on time, to the highest quality standards, and within budget, while also leading the team's performance and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of fabricators and platers, ensuring the workflow is managed effectively, and production deadlines are met.
  • Use overhead cranes and have experience in structural fabrication, including line and levelling structures during fabrication.
  • Review and interpret technical and engineering drawings to understand required structures and materials.
  • Accurately measure, mark, cut, and shape metal materials using appropriate tools.
  • Assemble and position structural components, ensuring accuracy in fitting.
  • Assist welders by preparing materials and components for welding.
