They are looking for a reliable and motivated Paint Prep Operative to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail who takes pride in preparing components to a high standard before painting and finishing.
About the Role: As a Paint Prep Operative, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of sign components for the paint process, ensuring they meet our quality standards. Your duties will include:
- Preparing aluminium and other materials for painting
- Cleaning, sanding and masking components
- Filling and smoothing surfaces where required
- Inspecting items for imperfections before painting
- Assisting with the movement and handling of materials
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
- Supporting the paint shop
