Aerospace Assembler

Location: South Nottingham

Commutable from: Nottingham, Derby, Loughborough, Long Eaton, Beeston, West Bridgford

Salary: £14.50 per hour

Shift: Monday to Friday rotating shifts

  • Week One - 06:00 till 14:00
  • Week Two - 14:00 till 22:00

About the Company

Our client is an established engineering manufacturer specialising in advanced materials and precision production for a range of high-performance industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their production team.

The Role

We are currently recruiting for Aerospace Assembler to join a growing manufacturing business in South Nottingham. The role involves manufacturing carbon fibre parts to aerospace standards while following defined production and quality procedures within a team environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manufacturing carbon fibre parts to aerospace standards
  • Following defined production processes accurately
  • Working to quality and health & safety standards
  • Working within a small production team to achieve targets
  • Completing shop floor quality paperwork where required
  • Supporting housekeeping and continuous improvement activities

About You

  • Good work ethic and team player
  • Punctual, reliable and able to follow processes accurately
  • Willing to learn and develop through training
  • Takes pride in producing high-quality work
  • Previous production or manufacturing experience preferred

Experience or understanding of the following is strongly preferred:

  • Composite materials, especially SMC compression moulding
  • Working within a production environment
  • Working within an ISO9001 environment

Experience or understanding of the following would be beneficial:

  • Aerospace manufacturing / AS9100 environment
  • 5S housekeeping and continuous improvement techniques
  • Completing shop floor quality paperwork

Additional Information

Initial 2-month contract due to increased sales demand. Potential extension available depending on business growth. Immediate starts available for the right candidates.
