The Role
We are recruiting an experienced Joinery Estimator to join a well-established business delivering bespoke joinery projects across the residential and commercial sectors. The company works on a varied range of projects, including door sets, bespoke joinery and complete interior fitouts. You will review project briefs, prepare accurate cost estimates, and manage tenders from the initial enquiry through to submission.
Key Responsibilities
- Review drawings, specifications, and project briefs.
- Prepare accurate estimates for joinery projects.
- Produce detailed material, labour, and subcontractor costings.
- Manage tender enquiries and prepare competitive submissions.
- Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Identify project requirements, risks, and potential cost variations.
- Liaise with clients to clarify technical and commercial requirements.
- Work closely with design, production, and project teams.
- Maintain accurate estimating and tender documentation.
- Support successful project handovers following contract award.

- Previous estimating experience within the joinery sector.
- A strong practical or technical background in joinery.
- Experience interpreting drawings, specifications, and client briefs.
