Location: Loughborough
Shift: Monday - Thursday, 7:30am to 4:30pm and Friday, 7:30am - 12:30pm

About the Company: An established manufacturer is looking for a skilled Welder to join their team.
About the Role: In this role you will be involved in the production of steel fabrication projects and will be responsible for ensuring all team tasks are completed on time, to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Weld metal components according to engineering specifications
- Able to carry out a flat weld, then set the plant (amps and current) to carry out a vertical up weld
- Responsible for carrying out all types of MIG welding to high standards using engineering drawings and jig arrangements
- Be able to set the welding, turning on the plant and gas, ready to do a flat weld (AMPs and current)
- Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts
- Deposit welds that pass both visual and NDE examinations
- Be able to read and understand weld symbols on engineering drawings provided
- Adhering to all safety-related standards associated with welding
