The Acrylic Fabricator Role:
We are looking for an experienced Acrylic Fabricator to join our skilled production team. This is a hands-on role focused on producing high-quality bespoke acrylic products, prototypes and retail displays. You'll use a range of fabrication techniques to create finished products from technical drawings while maintaining excellent quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture bespoke acrylic products and prototypes from technical drawings.
- Carry out line bending, syringe gluing, polishing, assembly and finishing of acrylic components.
- Produce one-off prototypes and small production runs to a high standard.
- Cut, shape and bond acrylic using a variety of fabrication techniques.
- Operate workshop machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
- Work closely with the wider production team to meet project deadlines.
About You:
- Previous experience in acrylic fabrication.
- Confident in line bending, syringe gluing and prototype manufacture.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
- Experience using CNC machinery would be advantageous but is not essential.
- A reliable team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
