- Fabricating parts
- Quality checking own work
The Candidate:
- 1+ years' experience as a Welder
- Able to read blueprints and drawings and take measurements to plan layout and procedures
- Able to determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
- Set up components for welding according to specifications
- Use measuring equipment to quality check work
- Fettling and grinding sheet metal work
- Quality check finished products and record/report any issues
- Manual handling of tools and materials to complete the job to the required standards
