The Job Role Position:

As a MIG Welder Fabricator, you'll play a key role in manufacturing pipework and fabricated assemblies for a major UK water board project. Working from detailed engineering drawings, you'll produce high-quality fabrications that form part of critical water infrastructure across the UK.

  • Producing consistently high-quality welds to engineering standards
  • Inspecting completed work to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Working safely within a busy fabrication workshop
  • Supporting colleagues to deliver projects on time and to specification
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment

A practical MIG weld test will form part of the interview process.

The Candidate:

The successful MIG Welder Fabricator will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' MIG welding and fabrication experience
  • Previous experience within a fabrication, manufacturing or heavy engineering environment
  • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Previous pipework fabrication or pipe welding experience would be advantageous, although not essential

Licence/Certification Required:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Welding qualifications advantageous but not essential for experienced welders
  • Full UK Driving Licence beneficial but not essential
