The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CMM Programmer to join a growing quality team within a modern aerospace manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, operating, and maintaining CMM inspection processes, ensuring all components meet strict aerospace quality standards and customer specifications.
Responsibilities include:
- Programming CMM machines using PC-DMIS software
- Creating and editing inspection programs for complex aerospace components
- Conducting first-off, in-process, and final inspection activities
- Interpreting complex engineering drawings and GD&T specifications
- Supporting root cause investigations and non-conformance activities
- Ensuring compliance with aerospace quality standards and procedures
- Working closely with production and quality teams to resolve inspection issues
- Maintaining accurate inspection documentation and reports
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department
About You:
- Strong PC-DMIS programming experience
- Experience working within aerospace or other highly regulated industries
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
- Experience using a range of metrology and inspection equipment
- Strong understanding of quality standards and inspection processes
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
