Job Description CNC Miller Setter Circa Β£40,000+ depending on experience Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am-4:30pm; Job Type: Permanent An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced CNC Miller Setter to join a well-established precision engineering business. The company manufactures high-integrity components for technically demanding sectors, including nuclear, defence, aerospace and oil and gas. Due to continued growth, the business is looking to strengthen its production team with a skilled CNC Setter who can work independently and consistently achieve demanding quality standards. As a CNC Miller Setter, you will take ownership of your machine and produce precision-engineered components to tight tolerances. You will work with modern CNC milling machinery and automation while contributing positively to the wider production team. Setting and operating CNC milling machines Working with 3, 4 and 5-axis machining processes Checking components against required quality standards Taking ownership of machine performance and completed work Supporting colleagues across the production department Strong CNC setting experience Previous experience setting and operating CNC milling machines Experience with 3, 4 or 5-axis machining Good understanding of precision machining and tight tolerances Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality Experience within nuclear, defence, aerospace, oil and gas or another high-integrity manufacturing environment would be highly desirable. Previous experience working with specialist materials or within regulated manufacturing supply chains would also be advantageous.
