About the Role:

A well established Aerospace company are seeking a skilled CNC Grinder to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting, operating CNC Grinding machines to produce high-precision components, ensuring all parts meet engineering specifications. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate documentation, supporting quality standards through SPC and self-inspection, and contributing to continuous improvement while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use gauges, micrometers and shadow graphs to ensure parts conform to drawings
  • Self-certify personal work
  • Prove out programs to ensure timings meet manufacturing and quality standards
  • Keep all computer files and manual paperwork accurate and up to date
  • Produce SPC charts and records
  • Maintain housekeeping to the highest standards
  • Ensure all quality procedures are followed, taking an active role in root cause analysis

About You:

  • Experience operating RSS and Okuma machinery preferred, or external grinding experience
  • Experience working within a busy manufacturing environment
  • Experience setting grinding machines
