Our client are specialist contractors serving the Construction, Rail, Utilities, Highways, and Civil Infrastructure sectors. With over 20 years of trusted industry experience, they have developed long-standing relationships with leading developers, house builders, civil engineers, and environmental consultants across the UK. Their services include ecological services, vegetation clearance, invasive weed management, tree protection, site hoarding, and security fencing-covering all aspects of site enablement.
The Role:
- Carry out tree work operations including felling, crown reductions, dismantling, and site clearance
- Use climbing and rigging techniques in line with best practice and industry safety standards
- Operate chainsaws, wood chippers, stump grinders, and related machinery
- Conduct pre-site assessments and hazard identification
- Work on construction, infrastructure, and utility projects across the UK
- Support ecological and vegetation management works as part of a wider team
- Travel and occasional overnight stays required (expenses covered)
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Fully qualified Arborist with NPTC/City & Guilds: CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39 (essential)
- CS40, CS41 (advantageous)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in commercial arboriculture (not just domestic tree work)
- Valid CSCS card (essential)
- Full UK Driving Licence (towing/B+E preferred)
- Strong understanding of site safety protocols and risk assessments
- Reliable, team-focused and capable of working to tight deadlines
