Job Role Responsibilities:
- To deliver projects across the whole Supply Chain function to agreed timelines, desired outputs & keeping within the set budget.
- The main areas of focus will be centred around Customer/Supplier demand, signal & Inventory Management.
- To ensure the efficient movement of materials, minimise costs, and meet customer demand, utilising tools for real-time visibility and insights into supply chain performance.
The Candidate:
- Work closely with key department stakeholders on projects to develop and execute solutions to support the direction and goals of the business.
- Be responsible for monitoring the details and status of projects, prepare standard and ad hoc updates and reports.
- Identify and resolve project issues, effectively escalate decisions and issues.
- Ensure projects are completed according to time and budget schedules.
- Support the business in the development and control of inventory and demand strategy from a front end and flow down perspective.
- To generate and maintain business metrics for supply and delivery performance, which enable business performance to be tracked on a regular basis and targets achieved.
- To identify and implement potential cost reduction and quality improvement opportunities, throughout the supply chain.
- To work within cross functional teams to support business development, growth and improvement projects as required.
- Using Power BI to visualize and analyse data from various sources within the supply chain (e.g., inventory, logistics, sales). Creating dashboards and reports to provide real-time insights into supply chain performance. Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimisation. Using Power BI for predictive analytics and forecasting to anticipate future supply chain needs and challenges.
