About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Wet Paint Sprayer to join a busy and growing manufacturing team in Leicester on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, spraying, and finishing a range of products to a high standard. This role would suit someone with previous wet spraying, painting, or manufacturing experience who takes pride in producing high-quality finishes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, masking, and preparation.
- Apply wet paint using spray-painting equipment to achieve an even and high-quality finish.
- Mix and prepare paints and coatings in line with job specifications.
- Check finished products for colour, coverage, consistency, and overall quality.
- Identify and correct imperfections or defects where required.
- Follow job sheets, production instructions, and customer specifications.
- Safely handle and move components throughout the preparation and painting process.
- Maintain spray equipment and report any faults or issues.
- Keep the work area clean, organised, and safe.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures, including appropriate PPE requirements.
- Work efficiently to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in wet paint spraying, industrial painting, or a similar manufacturing environment.
