The predicted salary is between 18.5 - 18.5 £ per hour.

Location: Leicester and Hinckley

Shift: 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday

Pay Rate: £15.00 to £18.50 per hour DOE

About the Role

Our client is a creative design and manufacturing business specialising in bespoke retail environments, furniture and interior installations for well-known UK brands. From concept through to completion, the business manages every stage in-house, combining design, engineering and craftsmanship to deliver high-quality, innovative retail solutions. They are looking for an experienced Bench Hand Joiner to join the workshop team in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled craftsperson to be part of a forward-thinking company that values quality, teamwork and pride in the finished product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacture, assemble and finish bespoke retail furniture and display units from technical drawings and specifications
  • Operate a wide range of woodworking machinery and hand tools, including saws, routers, planers and sanders
  • Work with materials such as hardwood, MDF, laminates and solid surfaces
  • Ensure a high-quality finish on all joinery work, maintaining attention to detail and craftsmanship standards
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers and other joiners to ensure accurate interpretation of drawings and timely completion of projects
  • Participate in assembly and fitting of units within the workshop, with occasional support for on-site installations
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment in line with Health and Safety regulations
