Role Overview
We are recruiting an experienced Multi-Skilled Operative to carry out routine maintenance and repair works within occupied social housing properties across Northamptonshire. This is a hands-on role suited to a reliable, versatile tradesperson who is confident working independently in tenanted properties.
Core Duties
- Carrying out all aspects of routine maintenance, including:
- Carpentry (1st & 2nd fix)
- Basic plumbing repairs
- Tiling and patch plastering
- Bricklaying and minor structural repairs
- Flooring repairs
- Fencing works
- Groundworks and external maintenance
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a multi-trade operative
- Ability to work in occupied properties professionally and respectfully
- Full UK driving licence
- Own basic tools
- Strong problem-solving ability and ability to complete jobs first time
Desirable
- Previous experience working within social housing or local authority environments
- Experience with responsive repairs
