A specialist electrical contractor delivering commercial office fit-out projects, predominantly in London and the Home Counties, is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager.
The role involves managing a portfolio of live commercial office fit-out projects from initial handover through to testing, commissioning, and completion. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing commercial electrical projects from project handover through to completion
- Overseeing multiple live projects at different stages of delivery
- Managing project programmes, budgets, variations, and overall performance
- Coordinating labour, subcontractors, suppliers, and materials
- Monitoring project costs and procurement requirements
- Attending client, project, and site meetings
- Carrying out regular site visits across London and the Home Counties
- Maintaining communication with clients, site teams, and other project stakeholders
- Identifying and resolving programme, technical, and commercial issues
- Managing testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover
About you:
- Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager or Electrical Contracts Manager
- A background working for a commercial electrical contractor
- Direct experience delivering CAT B commercial office fit-out projects
- Experience managing multiple fast-paced electrical projects simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of labour management, procurement, variations, and project costs
- Able to manage project programmes and competing deadlines
- Confident communicating with clients, site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Willing and able to travel regularly to project sites across London and the Home Counties
- Able to attend the Stevenage office approximately twice per month
- A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle
Salary of £55,000–£65,000, with travel expenses covered and hybrid working arrangements.
