About the Company
Our client is a respected Repairs and Maintenance contractor working across London, Essex, Hertfordshire and Suffolk, and they are expanding their team due to continued growth within the business. They are seeking multiple Multi-Trade Operatives and Plumbers to support maintenance contracts within Social Housing properties, carrying out a wide range of tasks from emergency make-safe repairs through to full property refurbishments.
Salary and Benefits
- £31,000–£39,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- A van and fuel card can be provided
- Out-of-hours pay in addition to base salary
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out day-to-day maintenance tasks, emergency make-safe repairs and full refurbishments within Social Housing properties
- Undertake a range of multi-trade duties including painting, carpentry, plastering and plumbing
- Complete detailed job reports and documentation through the web-based system
- Work across London (North and South), Essex, Hertfordshire and Suffolk
- Participate in out-of-hours emergency cover, paid in addition to base salary
- Maintain a proactive approach to repairs and service delivery
Requirements
- Experience as a Multi Trade Operative or Plumber within repairs and maintenance
- Ability to perform a variety of basic trades to a competent standard
- Proactive, positive attitude with strong problem-solving ability
- Comfortable completing administrative tasks and digital reporting
- Must supply your own tools
