About the Company

Our client is a respected Repairs and Maintenance contractor working across London, Essex, Hertfordshire and Suffolk, and they are expanding their team due to continued growth within the business. They are seeking multiple Multi-Trade Operatives and Plumbers to support maintenance contracts within Social Housing properties, carrying out a wide range of tasks from emergency make-safe repairs through to full property refurbishments.

Salary and Benefits

  • £31,000–£39,000 per annum (depending on experience)
  • A van and fuel card can be provided
  • Out-of-hours pay in addition to base salary

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out day-to-day maintenance tasks, emergency make-safe repairs and full refurbishments within Social Housing properties
  • Undertake a range of multi-trade duties including painting, carpentry, plastering and plumbing
  • Complete detailed job reports and documentation through the web-based system
  • Work across London (North and South), Essex, Hertfordshire and Suffolk
  • Participate in out-of-hours emergency cover, paid in addition to base salary
  • Maintain a proactive approach to repairs and service delivery

Requirements

  • Experience as a Multi Trade Operative or Plumber within repairs and maintenance
  • Ability to perform a variety of basic trades to a competent standard
  • Proactive, positive attitude with strong problem-solving ability
  • Comfortable completing administrative tasks and digital reporting
  • Must supply your own tools
