Mechanic required for our client, a leading construction company. The mechanic will need to be commutable of Welwyn Garden City and be office based 5 days a week. The Mechanic will be carrying out service and repairs to get vehicles back out on the road quickly, whilst still adhering to company standards and safety. Mechanic Remuneration * £42,000 – £45,000 DOE * Holiday – 25 days plus Bank holidays * Christmas shutdown – 3 days automatically deducted from annual leave entitlement * Pension Scheme, client contribute 3% pension if Employee contributes 4%. * Life cover 2 x salary * Full package discussed at interview stage Mechanic Responsibilities * Inspect vehicles, engines, transmissions and run diagnostic tests * Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability * Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner * Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, vehicles, and equipment * Carry out any other duties needed Mechanic Requirements * Proven experience as a Mechanic * Excellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical, and other systems and their components * Driving License
