About the Company

Our client is a well-established and highly respected Building Services subcontractor delivering high-quality CAT A and CAT B commercial office fit-out projects across London. Their projects typically range from £500k to £3m in value and are delivered for leading main contractors and end clients. With £17m of secured work already in the order book, the business continues to grow and is looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their delivery team. The Role

The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for the full lifecycle delivery of electrical packages on commercial office fit-out projects across London. You will oversee projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring delivery is on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires someone with a strong understanding of electrical design coordination and project financial management, as well as the ability to work closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing electrical packages on CAT A and CAT B office fit-out projects
  • Overseeing projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover
  • Reviewing and coordinating electrical design and technical drawings
  • Liaising with consultants, design teams, and main contractors
  • Managing project budgets, costs, and financial performance
  • Preparing and monitoring project programmes and progress
  • Managing procurement of materials and subcontract labour
  • Leading and supporting site supervisors and installation teams
  • Attending and leading client and site meetings
  • Ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with industry regulations
  • Supporting commissioning, testing, and final project delivery

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within building services
  • Strong experience delivering commercial office fit-out projects (CAT A / CAT B)
  • Good understanding of electrical design and technical coordination
  • Experience managing project budgets, cost control, and financial reporting
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Confident client-facing communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project teams
  • Relevant electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition desirable
