Electrician required for our well established client who currently design, supply & install rooftop solar systems for the commercial and domestic sector. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Electrician, based out of the Blackburn area. As this is predominately a field-based role, you must be happy to travel and stay away when required. The ideal candidate will be a qualified electrician with a solid technical / electrical background, preferably a time served electrician with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar post. It is essential to have experience of renewable energy, within either solar and/or battery installations. Package: * £18-£22.50ph * 40 hours per week (overtime also available) * Monday -Friday * 32 days holiday * Company Pension * All expenses paid when a stay away is required including a meal allowance Duties: * Install, configure, and connect solar panels, inverters, and electrical components according to design specifications * Perform electrical wiring, conduit installation, and connection of solar PV systems to existing electrical systems. * Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues related to solar panel systems. * Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met. * Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working at heights and with electrical equipment. * Maintain accurate records of installations, including documentation of equipment, materials used, and work performed.
