Job Description
An ambitious Trainee BIM CAD Technician is needed to join a growing company; an established organisation which specialises in the production of fully engineered and co-ordinated building services models which satisfy the latest BIM requirements.
Must be keen to learn as this is a fantastic opportunity for a trainee CAD technician to join an established organisation as part of a growing team with a combined experience of over 60 years in building services projects.
- Based in Leatherhead
- £22,000 – £25,000 (depending on experience)
- Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours
- 20 days holiday increasing annually to a maximum of 25
- Company contribution pension 4%
Job specification:
- Working under a senior co-ordinator engineer.
- Work in 2D surface modelling.
- Preparing end sheets for installation drawings.
- Modifying schematics and electrical layout drawings.
- This role will progress to producing drawings in 3D solid modelling.
Person specification:
- IT literate with experience of using AutoCAD.
- A sound knowledge of engineering principals.
- An understanding of construction methods.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Able to work to deadlines.
