About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Wet Paint Sprayer to join the workshop team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and wet spraying metal components to a high standard, ensuring finished products meet the required quality and customer specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Paint Sprayer looking for a stable day-shift position with consistent Monday-to-Friday hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wet spraying metal components and fabricated products.
- Preparing surfaces prior to painting, including cleaning, masking and preparation.
- Mixing and preparing paints and coatings to the required specifications.
- Applying paint using spray equipment to achieve a consistent, high-quality finish.
- Inspecting completed work for coverage, finish and defects.
- Carrying out any necessary preparation or remedial work.
- Working to production schedules and maintaining quality standards.
- Cleaning and maintaining spray guns and associated equipment.
- Following COSHH, health and safety and company procedures.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
About You:
- Previous experience as a Wet Paint Sprayer is essential.
- Experience within an engineering, manufacturing or fabrication environment is desirable.
- Confident using spray painting equipment.
- Good understanding of surface preparation and paint application.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
