About the Role: Our client is seeking an experienced Estimating Engineer to support the development of accurate and competitive cost estimates for metallic aerospace components.
- Interpreting customer data as received
- Collating customer data into manageable formats to enable functions to support estimating
- Interfacing with customers' engineers and buyers for data closure and clarification
- Launching RFP to nominated suppliers for part costs
- Calculating labour hours related to fabricated parts and machining hours for machined parts
- Working with suppliers for treatments and other subcontracted processes for costs and lead-times
- Collating costs related NRC
