We are looking for an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Manager to lead our warehouse and logistics operation, ensuring the efficient movement of goods while maintaining high standards of service, compliance, and operational performance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all warehouse activities, including inbound and outbound logistics, inventory control, import/export processes, budget management, and health and safety compliance.

They will lead and develop the warehouse team, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and drive continuous improvement initiatives to support business objectives.

  • Based in Esher
  • £40,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience) + Bonus (worth up to 20% of basic salary)
  • 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring the smooth receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the warehouse team to achieve operational targets.
  • Monitor and report on warehouse KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound logistics to ensure efficiency and customer service standards are met.
  • Coordinate continuous improvement projects to enhance warehouse performance and productivity.
  • Manage import and export activities, ensuring compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare, monitor, and control departmental budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate stock control and inventory management processes.
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure seamless operational performance.
  • Produce operational reports and management information as required.
  • Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role.

Essential Experience

Minimum of five years' experience in warehouse or logistics management.

Proven experience managing warehouse teams within a fast-paced environment.

Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management and logistics.

Experience managing budgets and operational performance.

Knowledge of import and export procedures.

Excellent understanding of Health & Safety legislation and best practice.

Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems (SAP experience advantageous).

Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
