Job Description

Finance Co-ordinator - 12 Month FTC

Location: Esher

Salary: £35,000–£45,000

About the Role

A fast-growing international business is looking for a Finance Co-ordinator to support and take ownership of its day-to-day finance function.

Working closely with senior leadership and external accountants, you will manage core finance activities, maintain accurate financial records, support reporting and compliance, and identify opportunities to improve processes as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial transactions.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payments.
  • Complete bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgets and key financial information.
  • Process and support UK and international payroll.
  • Assist with VAT, statutory reporting and year-end accounts.
  • Maintain accurate finance records and documentation.
  • Respond to internal and external finance queries.
  • Improve and document finance processes and systems.
  • Work with external accountants and other finance partners.

About You

  • 2–5 years' experience in finance, accounts or bookkeeping.
  • Experience with Xero or a similar accounting system.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
  • Good understanding of UK accounting and VAT.
  • Experience across AP, AR, reconciliations and payroll.
  • Highly organised, accurate and commercially aware.
  • Able to work independently and take ownership.
  • AAT/ACCA/CIMA qualification or study towards one is desirable.
