Location: Remote / Hybrid (Epsom office available 1–2 days per week or full-time if preferred)

Salary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience

We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join a busy and friendly conveyancing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised individual with solid residential conveyancing experience who is able to work independently and provide high-quality support throughout the conveyancing process. The role can be fully remote, although attendance at the Epsom office 1–2 days per week would be beneficial. Full-time office-based working is also available if preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audio typing and preparing correspondence from dictation
  • Preparing and issuing contract packs
  • Carrying out property searches
  • Assisting with exchanges and completions
  • Setting up completions and preparing completion statements
  • Submitting SDLT returns
  • Managing files and updating case management systems
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, solicitors, and lenders
  • Providing general administrative and legal support across all aspects of residential conveyancing

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Conveyancing Assistant
  • Strong understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction through to completion
  • Experience handling SDLT submissions and conveyancing searches
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload
  • Ability to attend the Epsom office on occasion
