Reporting to the Electrical Project Manager / Operations Director.
The Role
Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of electrical installations across multiple projects, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Typically overseeing 1–2 projects at a time, working closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, and site teams on commercial electrical projects up to the value of £2m (Electrical) – Offices, Healthcare, Higher Education, Museums, etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising all site-based electrical activities, ensuring works are carried out in accordance with design drawings, specifications, and current regulations.
- Ensuring health, safety & welfare is maintained and adhered to at all times on site, including carrying out toolbox talks, site inductions, and regular safety inspections.
- Coordinating and managing subcontract labour, materials, and site logistics to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Assisting the Project Manager in planning, programming, and delivering projects from pre-start through to completion and handover.
- Monitoring progress against programme and reporting updates, issues, and risks to the Project Manager.
- Ensuring all installations meet required quality standards.
