Job Type: Full-time 08:30 – 17:00 (flexible on start / finish times)

Job Overview

This role is integral to our team and forms the glue between each department and every project, ensuring smooth running of operations and keeping a close eye on the business as a whole, supporting our Director and Project Manager to deliver projects efficiently and to a high standard. Suiting a very organised and motivated individual, this highly varied role requires you to be involved in every project and become an integral part of our day-to-day business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Support
    • Updating finish schedules with sourced furniture and accessories, with an eye for detail to ensure accuracy
    • Ordering samples of finishes for projects and preparing sample boards
    • Opening trade accounts and maintaining relationships with suppliers
  • Director Support
    • Ad-hoc support to the Director to ensure the smooth running of the business
    • Raising returns and faulty products for replacement or refund
    • Updating our CRM with contacts, opportunities and other key information to maintain an accurate database
    • Diary management and support with ad hoc tasks
  • Project Support
    • Ordering and logistical management of goods to be delivered to site when required by our Project Manager
    • Raising returns and faulty products for replacement or refund
    • Negotiating discounts with suppliers
    • Assisting the design team with design proposals (ad hoc)
  • Operations Support
    • Providing reports and financial statistics on an ad hoc and cyclical basis
    • Uploading VAT receipts to Xero, reconciling bank statements and raising invoices
    • Taking deliveries and checking items upon arrival
    • Maintaining the office, including insurances, utilities and stock control of essential supplies
    • Maintaining the supplier database to ensure accurate records for all tradespeople
