Pensions Administrator – Defined Benefit (DB)

About the Role
You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive pensions administration team, working across a wide variety of Defined Benefit schemes. As you develop, you'll take greater ownership of client relationships, enjoy exposure to more complex casework, and contribute to process improvements that enhance service delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out and checking complex calculations (e.g. divorce, tax issues, complex death cases)
- Drafting and reviewing bespoke client communications and documentation
- Keeping up to date with legislation and advising on required changes
- Mentoring and supporting colleagues to build team capability
- Supporting internal projects and efficiency initiatives
- Maintaining high standards of service across all scheme work
- Developing deep understanding of scheme-specific nuances and client needs
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in UK DB pensions administration
- Educated to A-Level, degree, or equivalent
- Strong numerical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Actively working towards professional pensions qualifications (e.g. APE, CPC)
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory bodies such as the Pensions Regulator and PPF
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing changing priorities
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
