Warehouse Operative
This is a physical role in a fast paced environment. All you need is a 'can do' attitude and be reliable. Full training will be given.
- Chessington
- £12.71 per hour (£26,436 annual equivalent)
- Monday - Friday, 11am - 8pm (40 hour week)
- Parking on site
Key responsibilities
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately
- Loading trucks (goods up to 25kg in weight)
- Unloading trucks and putting goods away
- Stock rotations, stock checks and stock integrity
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment
- Operate warehouse equipment safely following appropriate training
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure customer orders are dispatched on time
- Provide support across the warehouse with a variety of operational tasks as required
Skills & experience
- Reliable with an excellent work ethic and strong attendance record
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable undertaking manual handling and physical work
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attendance and time keeping
Additional information
- This will initially start on a temporary basis for 3 months with a view of becoming a permanent position
- After 3 months in-house forklift license
- Stable, long-term opportunity within a supportive and friendly team
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
