Operations & Installation Manager
Location: Leatherhead, Surrey
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Travel: No regular travel required
An exciting opportunity to join a growing business in a key operational leadership role.
We are looking for an experienced Operations & Installation Manager to lead our installation teams and oversee the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
You will take ownership of installation planning, project coordination, stock, warehouse operations, ordering, deliveries and health & safety, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage installation teams and contractors.
- Plan installation schedules, workloads and resources.
- Coordinate projects from order through to installation and completion.
- Manage stock, warehouse operations and deliveries.
- Place and monitor supplier orders.
- Coordinate deliveries with installation schedules.
- Manage snagging and remedial works.
- Ensure health & safety standards are maintained.
- Identify and resolve operational issues.
- Work closely with surveyors, installers, suppliers and customers.
- Drive improvements in processes, performance and efficiency.
About You
- Experience managing installation teams or contractors.
- Knowledge of windows, doors, glazing and installation processes.
- Experience with stock, warehouse and delivery management.
- Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of health & safety.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a practical, hands‑on approach.
- Confidence to take ownership and make decisions.
- Good IT and scheduling/administration skills.
