Trainee BIM/CAD Technician An ambitious Trainee BIM CAD Technician is needed to join a growing company; an established organisation which specialises in the production of fully engineered and co-ordinated building services models which satisfy the latest BIM requirements. Must be keen to learn as this is a fantastic opportunity for a trainee CAD technician to join an established organisation as part of a growing team with a combined experience of over 60 years in building services projects. Based in Leatherhead Circa £26,000 (depending on experience) Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours 20 days holiday increasing annually to a maximum of 25 Company contribution pension 4% Job specification: Working under a senior co-ordinator engineer. Work in 2D surface modelling. Preparing end sheets for installation drawings. Modifying schematics and electrical layout drawings. This role will progress to producing drawings in 3D solid modelling. Person specification: IT literate with experience of using AutoCAD. A sound knowledge of engineering principals. An understanding of construction methods. Good communication skills. Ability to work as part of a team. Able to work to deadlines.
